Coby White WILL Be Traded / Justin Fields is the REAL Deal

Only two players remain from the Garpax era, one of them signed a $215M extension, and the other has been shopped in the trade market since AKME took the job. Coby White went from being a promising 7th overall pick to taking a backseat to a 2nd round pick Ayo Dosunmu.

In an era where blue checkmarks must be questioned on Twitter thanks to Elon Musk, Michael Scotto's verified profile sent a link to an article he wrote indicating Coby White could be on the move. Problem is: who would take him? The Lakers? For what exactly? The Bulls failed to OFFER an extension to Coby White allowing him to hit the free agent market next summer. I wouldn't hold you breath on a great return for Coby White, probably at most a future 2nd round pick could be in play. Highly unlikely the Bulls will get a serviceable player in return for White.
Justin Fields is the BEST QB in his Draft...not that it's a big deal
Not often the Bears can walkaway from a draft saying they drafted the best QB that year, especially in 2017 when the Bears skipped over Patrick Mahomes for Mitchell Trubisky. I'll pause for you to gag once again. Saying Justin Fields is better than Trey Lance, Zach Wilson, and Trevor Lawerence might not feel like a big deal in 2022, but sure feels nice to see other teams ENVY a QB the Bears have.

Look, Justin Fields might be closer to Lamar Jackson than he is to Tom Brady. I can live with that. That means we have a FRANCHISE quarterback on our hands who is an ELITE runner with an arm. Bears lose to the Lions...who cares. They put up points, Fields showed promise, and they improve their draft pick for next year. All those things are POSITIVES. Let's not talk about the defense though...
